Autism Assessment

  • Dr Lennox begins with a one-hour face to face screening consultation to determine if formal autism assessment is right for you. If autism isn’t initially suspected she can guide you to better avenues of support without proceeding to further assessment. However, if there are indications you may be autistic she will invite you to have a formal assessment on the same day.

  • The next part involves triangulating different sources of evidence and comprises of an interview, incorporating any informant history you wish, and an observational assessment.

  • You’ll have a detailed feedback session on the day and the opportunity to ask any questions.

  • After the assessment, you will receive a comprehensive report outlining a variety of personalised recommendations.

  • Post-diagnostic support sessions can be arranged and may include family.

  • Dr Lennox may also match you with a psychologist or therapist if you wish.
